SMITH. - Rev. Fr. William SJ, died peacefully at St Vincents Public Hospital, Emergency, Melbourne on Feb. 12, 2000. Loved son of Charlotte and John (both dec.). In the 83rd year of his life, his 63rd year as a Jesuit and his 49th year as aPriest. Scholar and teacher, dedicated to social justice and research and Jewish-Christian relations. Faithful Chaplain to the FCJ Religious and the Thomas More Centre. A devoted and faithful servant of His Lord. His memory is treasured by his Jesuit Community and friends. Requiscat in Pace.
