SIMPSON, Violet
Violet Simpson nee Gigg of Bateau Bay passed away on 3rd September 2019 at the tender age of 93.
The funeral service was held at Palmdale Cemetery on Tuesday 10th September and attended by her much loved family and friends.
Violet was married to Richard "Bill" Simpson on 23rd November 1944 in Southport Queensland for 44 years until Bills untimely passing in 1988.
Mother to Terry and Judith (passed away 24th September, 2018).
Nana to Karen, Bradley, James, Nicole, Kristen, Rachel and Richard, great grandmother to 23 and great, great grandmother to 6 and loving Aunt to many.
Born on 23rd of March, 1926 in Annandale one of 10 brothers and sisters, late of Picnic Point, Guildford and the Central Coast.
Her greatest loves beside her family were camping at Toowoon Bay, she was a long term patron of Bateau Bay Bowling Club playing the pokies. Her other past times included housie, singing and she was a wicked yodeller.
She is survived by son Terry, daughter in-law Terry, son in-law Robert and will be sadly missed by her loving family.
Kind to all and willing to chat she was known and loved by many. Forever in our hearts, never forgotten. She will live on in spirit on Earth and be welcomed home with open arms by her loved ones in Heaven.
