SIBBALD, Danny.The A.M.W.U. is deeply saddened at the passing of retired State Organiser Danny Sibbald.Danny was a well respectedand passionate union activistwho committed his life to representing workers, whether as a Shop Steward at T. O'Connor & Sons, Cavan or later as a State Organiser in the A.M.W.U. until his retirement in 1998.Danny was at his best when the chips were down and was well known for his no nonsense approach to bargaining for his members. He led the campaign in South Australia that ultimately saw the establishment of Industry Superannuation Entitlements for S.A. Manufacturing workers.
