Marysia Segan
14 September 1928 – 4 April 2021
An exceptional, beautiful person who engaged
and enriched the lives of many around her.
Together with her late husband of 66 years Berek Segan AM OBE,
they developed and launched the ongoing and highly successful
Castlemaine State Festival.
Adored, respected and loved mother of
Dion and partner Djordje, Dominique (dec), Marshall and partner Ylana.
Greatly loved and admired grandmother of
Monique & Daniel, Julian & Nicole, Louise & Mike.
Adored great grandmother of Audrey, loving sister of Eve Chapman and her partner Marc Fust, special aunt to Henry & Hong Bernard and family, special great aunt to Paul and Yoko Chapman, loving sister in law of Sima Lowen (dec) and Riva Hines and their families.
