The Board and Management of Southport Australian Rules Football Club would like to extend their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Scott Reid.

Scott was always a huge supporter of Southport Sharks, especially in the early days of our strategic planning. A passion of AFL saw his key involvement in the bid for the AFL’s 17th license, which resulted in Gold Coast Suns being formed.

The club is deeply saddened in losing such a generous man and our thoughts are with his family in this difficult time.
