Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family

on January 25, 2022.

Aged 92 years.

Beloved wife of Filippo (deceased).

To my dear mother-in-law,

you have been a significant part of my life since joining your family. We shared many happy times and tough times together, some filled with laughter and some with tears. These times made us stronger and I know Vince and I will be forever grateful for all you have done for us and our children. Losing my husband, your son, was a difficult time but you always managed to give me strength as you encouraged me to move on as you had so bravely done in your own life. It was a bond we would never had wanted to share but I am grateful I had you by my side as Vince and I stood by yours when you needed it.

As we let you go, I know you will be welcomed into the arms of your husband and son and you’ll be safe for eternity.

To our loving Nonna and Bisnonna,

you were a gift to us all and we were all blessed to have you part of our lives for so long, and to share so many special moments with you that we will cherish forever.

You will be remembered as our strong, courageous and loving Nonna and we have peace in our hearts knowing that you are reunited with your son and husband.

You have been an inspiration to us as you lived life to the fullest and our lives will not be the same without you.

We all love you and will miss you more than words can describe.

Cara Mamma,

We watched you suffer, we hear you sigh,

But all we could do, was just stand by.

We lived in hope and prayed in vain,

For God to make you well again.

But he decided we must part,

We watched you go with broken hearts.

There are not enough words to express how much I miss you and the hole you have left in my heart. I will miss your smile, your voice, your quirky Italian sayings but most of all I will miss all those times I picked you up to take you to places. You had a heart of gold and touched so many people with your generosity. You are now reunited again with dad and you will always being our guardian angel.

Cara Nonna,

You have left our world and our hearts have been broken. We wish we could see you smile one more time. You amazed us with your strength, resilience and courage. You fought a tough battle and as much as we didn’t want you to go we all knew it was your time to rest. You had a heart of gold, a cheeky smile and a generous soul. We will miss your Italian jokes, the songs you would sing, the stories you would share and of course your yummy pasta.

You have left a place in our hearts that no one can ever fill.

Rest in peace our beautiful Nonna. Love Basil, Louisa, Tina, Silvio, Carmel, Nick,

Josephine, Tony, Lucy, Franc and all their children.

We have been so blessed and honoured to have called you our Bisnonna. We will miss

your hugs, your endless supply of smarties but most of all playing briscola with you.

We will cherish the many memories we made together and hold them close in

our hearts forever.

Dear Mum and Nonna,

We thank God for the 92 years of your life well lived. Gone are the happy days we shared together but not the memories, they last forever. When thoughts go back as they always do, we treasure the memories we have of you. We hope that life in heaven with Nonno is as wonderful as you deserve. May you both enjoy eternity together now that you are reunited once again.
