Syd, thank you for the time you dedicated to me when i first walked into Mick Murrays Boxing gym almost 28 years ago. My pathway would have been very different if it wasn't for your persistance. Even though the gym changed forever when Mick past, you still remained and kept some normality for those of us that grew up with "Mick and Syd". Thanks for the memories and life defining lessons learnt at the gym.
