RUSSELL. _ Sr Ellen (Nell) RSJ. (Formerly Sr. Mary Gerard) Born Sept. 9, 1918 Died peacefully at Mary MacKillop Aged Care, Hawthorn East on Mar. 3, 2016 A faithful Sister of Saint Joseph of the Sacred Heart for 74 years, Nell was a dedicated teacher who brought humour, energy, a love of people and sport to the communities of Sisters, schools and parishes, especially at Williamstown, where she retired. Nell, down to earth, bright-eyed and practical, loved her many nieces and nephews. We thank the Staff of Mary MacKillop Residence for their loving care of Sr Nell. May she rest in peace
