RUPENA (nee Susanna). - Virginia. Passed away quietly Wed. Mar. 8, 2006 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Rudi (dec.), loving and devoted mother to Luciana, Loretta (Julie), Michela (Lily) and Michael (Mickey). Adored grandmother of Paula, Daniel, Romina, Anita, Matthew, Sarah and Ebony. Sister of Anselmo (dec.), Lina (dec.), Antonietta (Argentina) and Maria Ida (France). Your courage and strength, your wisdom and constant love have been an inspiration and your legacy to all of us. We will miss you terribly. Mamma, my tolerant confidante and friend. You loved me unconditionally, my love for you will never end. The wisdom of your sayings gave me strength to live my life. It is in giving that we receive and you gave and gave and gave. It revealed your love of beauty; your hardworking ethic as you diligently prepared the soil and sowed the seeds; your practical nature as you reaped the fruits which fed your family. Mum, you taught us by your example of kindness, humility and unconditional love and I know that now you are with Dad, forever young and dancing. Nonna, you have always been our only living grandparent and have compensated with your big heart. We will miss you so much.
