Born in Palmi, Pr. Reggio Calabria, Italy on December 8, 1934. Passed away peacefully at the Royal Adelaide Hospital with loving family by his side on October 20, 2021. Aged 87 years. Loving and devoted husband of Maria for 68 years. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Francesco and Sonya (both deceased), Rocco (deceased), Pina and Luigi Iammarrone, Antonietta and Salvatore Monteleone, Lisa and Robert Urbancic, Marilyn and Robert Monteleone. Cherished and adored Nonno of Lucy, Vincent and Iwona, Carlo, Nicole, Daniel and Tessa, Adrian and Jacquie, Carl, Luke, Kiara and Bisnonno of Lili, Charlotte and Louie. Beloved son of Carmelo and Giuseppina (both deceased). Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Domenica (deceased), Carmela and Domenico (deceased), Antonio (deceased) and Maria, Giuseppe (deceased) and Rosa, Francesco (deceased), Rosario (deceased). Loved son-in-law of Francesco and Letteria Fuda. (both deceased). Much loved brother-in-law of Rosario and Grazia, Vincenza and Pierino, Concetta and Giuseppe (deceased), Giuseppe and Vincenza, Letteria and Felice (deceased) (Italy), Antonietta and Ernie, Rosaria and Antonio. Lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends in Australia and Italy. Caro Melo, Ti ringrazio per i 68 anni di matrimonio insieme. Ti ringrazio per la famiglia che abbiamo formato insieme. Ti ringrazio per la vita vissuta insieme tra le gioie e le sofferenze. Il viaggio non e sempre stato facile ma insieme abbiamo superato tutto. La tua scomparsa il mio cuori difficilmente puo’ accettare. Il giorno che saremo riuniti in paradiso sara’ il giorno che il mio cuore riposera’ in pace. Tanto amore dalla tua devota moglie Maria. To our dearest Dad, Nonno and Nonnino, We were so fortunate to live so close to you and see you so often and to share all our special moments together. We will always cherish the time we got to spend with you. You were one of a kind. Thank you for loving us so much. We're heartbroken and life will not be the same without you. Caro Papa, Words are not enough to express a life time of unconditional love and guidance. You have given us so many wonderful memories that we will cherish for the rest of our days. The last couple of years have been so hard to accept as I watched your health decline, however I feel privileged to have been given the chance to spend so much time together. There are so many memories of you that makes my heart smile. None of us will ever forget your quirky, humorous and loving nature.
