Roy, Not only have I lost a husband and the father to our 3 children, but I have lost my best friend. A part of me went with you and I can’t begin to imagine life without you. We always stuck together as a family and got the job done, no matter how big or small. We are one man down now but I promise we will stick together and get through our biggest challenge together, as The Portolesi’s do. Your pain and suffering has now ended. Till we meet again my love. Your loving wife Dear Dad, What we would give to hear your voice again. Words cannot describe how fortunate we are to call you Dad. Your hard work and dedication to everything you did in life was inspiring to us, and many others. Dad, I will fulfill the dreams you had, which we now share. I promise to love, care and protect Mum, Rocky and Anne-Marie exactly as you did for us. Until we meet again. We love you dearly, Joseph and Francesca xx Dad, The respect and love people have for you is extraordinary. I will forever be grateful to have a father who was idolised by so many. Our time has been tragically cut short, leaving many lessons left untaught and many laughs left unheard. There is so much more that we needed you here with us for. I will never be able to express the love, respect and appreciation that I have for you and our time together. You will always be my hero. I love you Dad. Rock xx Dad, Words can’t express how much I am missing you. You were the greatest father one could ever ask for and I hope that as you walk by my side through life, I will make you proud. Thank you for all the life lessons, funny memories and cherished moments. Love always, your little girl, Missy xx Dear Rocco, The sparkle in your eyes we will always remember, The joyful company we were always blessed, You will be in our hearts always and forever, God always takes the best. Your father-in-law and mother-in-law Rocco and Concettina Romeo Roy, Big Brother, We ask why have we been ripped off yet again? I guess we will never know. The last 7 weeks have been the hardest in our lives not knowing what God had planned for you but come Friday the fate you were given has left us shocked and in despair. We will never accept this but the legacy you leave behind will comfort us. You passed away surrounded by love and we knew you felt loved until your very last breath. Mum and Dad would have been waiting for you with open arms. We always knew Dad couldn’t live without you. We promise to be there for Ricky and the kids and we won’t let you down. Rest in peace big brother and cherished uncle. Until we meet again, your brother Joe (Marro), Ornella, Michael and Maria. NO LUTTO
