The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
RILEY, Kaine Jack
Bubba Kaine Jack,
Little did we know that morning that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone. Part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
Forever we will remember, honour and love you.
Love Poppy John, Nanna Bernie, Uncle Jack, Aunty Lucy, Aunty Nikita, Uncle Matthew, Uncle Jacob, Aunty Tyla and Great Nanna Marj.
All our love to Jasmine, Kaine, Royce, Marley and Jace.
