The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
RHODES. - Marc, suddenly. My darling Marc, where do I begin, all the lights have gone dim. I see you smiling down on me saying "God really needed me". It's said to be that angels are sent from above, but I've always had my angel, my darling husband Marc, whose heart was filled with such love. No-one will ever know the ache my heart feels, the pain I'm trying to hide. Why did you have to leave? I never wanted you to go, what am I supposed to do now, when all I want is just to be with you. How can it be, why is this true? Oh God, oh Marc, I just miss you. Sweetheart, I love you so - Suzanne.
