Passed away in the loving presence of his family.
Much loved son of Malcolm and Amy (both dec)
Treasured brother of John (dec), Charmian and Jim (dec).
Cherished Husband of Roma (dec) and special friend of Wendy.
Loved father and father-in-law of Martin and Gail, Jennifer and Les.
Proud grandfather to Malcolm (dec) and Lizzie , Alexander and Amy.
Dearly loved by all his family, Peter lived life to the full with a beautiful smile and a twinkle in his eye. Over his 87 years he found great joy in sailing and rugby, and he was not only active, but a highly valued and dedicated member of numerous committees that supported these sports within the community. He also enjoyed writing and bridge and valued education. We will miss him terribly but take comfort in the long and happy time we had with him.
A celebration of Peter's life will be held at a later date with details to follow.
