Unexpectedly taken from us on 12 September, aged 56. Soulmate to Pip, doting father to his babies Jack and Grace, and Mackenzie and Brie. Beloved son of Tim and Jane Ratten, cherished brother to Emma. A special thank you to the remarkable team at the Royal Hobart Hospital, particularly those in the ICU.

A beautiful mind. A beautiful soul. A heart like no other. He will live on in all of us, including the nine lives he has transformed and saved through organ donation.

A private family ceremony will be held in Hobart.
