The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
RATCLIFFE, Margaret.
I have so many great memories Mum that I will never forget, you were always there for me and everyone else around you. It won't be the same reading the Letters to the Editor anymore, me laughing or mostly cringing at some of your comments. As promised I will look after Dad and Peta for you.
To all the wonderful staff at Hobart Private whether in the Emergency Dept or on the 1st Floor, Chris, Claire and Kirsten you are forever in our debt.
To Dr Nathan Dwyer, you were like the son Mum never had, looking after her since 2014, she always told everyone that you were 'her/my Nathan'. Without you I know we wouldn't have had Mum for as long as we have. Every time I eat Jelly Beans I will always think of you and Mum eating them together.
Will miss you and love
you forever Mum. Denise xxx
