The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
RAFFERTY. _ Chips. I met you in the gator on the farm out on the track - I could always rely on you to stop and have a yack - I had no Idea of the impact you would have on my life - Phill's Dad who lived down the way with his wife - From farming stuff to Phill and I to what went on today - You became my biggest confidante that I will miss each day - You have been our daily visitor for a regular report - Always offering your kindness and heartfelt support - There's so much more to tell you - so much more for you to see - please look down on us from heaven and watch over Phill and me - I am Privileged and grateful to have known you as I do - I promise to look after Phill and love him like you do. Life for Phill and I will never be the same - you were taken way too early - such a terrible shame - We will miss you in the gator on the farm out on the track but especially we will miss our special time to yack. Always in Our Hearts - For Lynne - it's so heartbreaking that the body can't last as long as the love between two people x x Love _ Yvonne, Phill, Suellen and Chevy
