QUINN, Reverend Father Andrew Born August 12, 1917, IrelandBorn to Eternal Life January 29, 2017Ordained to Priesthood at St. Patrick's College, Carlow, Ireland, June 3, 1944.After serving as Assistant Priest at Blackpool, Lancashire, United Kingdom for two years, in 1946 Father Quinn arrivedin Australia and served in the Diocese of Wagga Wagga as Assistant Priest in the parishes of St. Michael's Cathedral and St. Mary, Corowa. Father Quinn was later appointed Parish Priest at Malwala, Urana, Tumbarumba, Ganmain and Wagga Wagga West. In the early 1990's he was appointed Chaplain to the Sisters of St. Joseph, Mother House, North Sydney and was Incardinated into the Archdiocese of Sydney in 2002 where he provided assistance at St. Joseph's Oatley during the early years of his retirement.Beloved son of Julia and Patrick Quinn (both deceased). Brother of Kathleen, Mary, Thomas, Father Michael, Daniel Joseph, and Theresa (all deceased). Brother-in-law of Sheila. Loved by his nieces, nephews, cousins and all his extended family.May he rest in peace.Pontifical Mass of Christian Burial for Reverend Father Andrew Quinn will be offered in St. Joseph's Church, corner Rosa and Frederick Streets, Oatley on Thursday February 9, 2017 at 10.30am.Interment will take place at Woden Cemetery, Justinian Street, Phillip, ACT on Friday February 10, 2017 at 1.00pm.SYDNEY 9519 5344www.wnbull.com.a
