QUARRY, Nancy (nee Lipscombe).
18.10.1928 - 28.5.2017
It is with sadness we accept the void created by the passing of our beloved mother from this life to the next.
Much loved and loving wife of Neil Edgar Quarry (dec). Treasured and much loved mother and mother-in-law of Rod and Ann, Kerry and Trish, Paul and Heather, Sharon and Jack Tabor. Fondly remembered Nan to all her grand and great grandchildren.
Born at Sandfly, daughter of George and Nita Lipscombe (both dec), loved sister of Marie and Reg Jackson (both dec), Lola and Doug (dec) Freeman, John (dec) and Betty, Eric and Peg (both dec), Basil and Zelda (both dec), Doreen and Ken Devine (both dec), Dot and Max Webster, Athol and Margaret (both dec), Hazel and Philip Cooper (dec). Nancy was the seventh child of ten in a close and loving family, sadly missed by them and all their families.
It's our time to fly on our own now Mum. You were always there for us. ALWAYS. You and Dad were our rocks when we needed support and our soft landing should we fall. You are together again. May your rest be as peaceful as your passing after a long time of confusion. Relax, enjoy and rest. You've both earned it and then some. We know you will continue to watch over us, but don't worry. You taught us well. We will love, respect and remember you always, Rod, Kerry, Paul, Sharon and their families.
We welcome family and friends to join us and enjoy morning tea at Turnbull Funerals, 71 Letitia Street, Hobart at 10.00 am, Thursday June 1, 2017.
