Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
PROKOP. - Anna, suddenly at home on Fri. May 11, 2001, aged 78 years. Mum, you lived a full life for those you dearly loved. You always gave your unconditional love to your husband and children and all others who you unselfishly regarded as equal. Your big heart will be treasured forever. Now gone but never forgotten. You have now joined your love Andrej in Heaven. From your heartbroken children, Janine, Les, Richard and combined families. To my darling mother, God looked down and stroked your face, He then looked up in Heaven And found you a special place. In our hearts you will always stay, Loved and remembered every day. No more pain and worries, just wonderful memories of the love we shared together. Reunited with Dad forever In our hearts you will always be treasured. We'll always love you Mum. - Your daughter Janine and Bernie, grandsons Duane and Monina and Wade. Nana, I knew one day I'd lose you. The good things never last, but why did it have to happen, you died and broke my heart. Give Papa a hug and kiss from me. Love you always Nana. - Your grandson Wade. To my darling Nana, Your pleasures were simple, Your needs were few, If the family was happy you were too, I will miss talking to you, I will miss your soup pirogee and especially I will miss you. Goodbye Nana, may you rest in peace forever with Papa. Always in our hearts - Love Duane and Monina.
