PRICE Laurence Collingwood Ross (Danny) July 16, 1932 – November 8, 2021
Sadly, Danny passed away at Riverside Views, Launceston, Tasmania, after a life well lived. Loved and loving husband of Carole (dec.). Special and loved only son of Lawrence and Alexandria (Lexie) Price (late of Beaconsfield, Tasmania). Loved brother of Sheila Lamb and Beverley (both dec.). Dearest uncle of Carole and Tony Walters and Ross and Lynne Lamb, proud great uncle to Tyran (dec.), Saoirse and Aisling. Best friend and mate for many years of Hugh, Margaret and Richard Paton. Thank you to all the caring staff at Riverside Views for your compassion and support of Danny over the past 2 years, and to Ward 4D at the LGH. Rest peacefully now Da, we will have a Wine of Scotland for you. Privately cremated. Under the wide and starry sky, Dig the grave and let me lie. Glad did I live and gladly die, And I laid me down with a will. This be the verse you grave for me: Here he lies where he longed to be; Home is the sailor, home from the sea, And the hunter home from the hill.
