Loving husband of Gwenda (May 7, 1932—December 10, 2009). Loving father of John, Andrew and Jill. Father-in-law of Jane, Anthony and Sandie. Loving grandfather of Daniel, Tom and Georgie.

A caring, gentle, generous and kind-natured person, loved and respected by all who knew him. Believer in compassion and social justice.

A vital intelligence and an inquiring mind. Lover of humour, always ready with a self-deprecating line and a laugh.
