Thank you to the nursing staff at the Laurel Hospice and the care and support from Dr David Williams from Hughes Clinic and Kara Moroney at Mcarthur Community Care. Also, a special thank you to David Gabarretta; you supported him as his carer and friend.

A million times I’ve needed you, a million times I’ve cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life I loved you dearly, in death I’ll love you still. In my heart you hold a place no one else can ever fill. It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn’t go alone, part of me went with you, the day God took you home. Always and Forever, your dear wife Fina.

Dad was loved by many people and I am so thankful to call him my own. He taught me so many things that I will always treasure. Dad you will always be in my heart and I will miss you forever. I love you to infinity, your forever little girl, Isabella.

Carmine, you were always there for me if I needed guidance and were a true older brother who protected me, even to the end. We shared many laughs and tears throughout the years and I’m so grateful that we did. It’s hard to believe you are gone. We’ll miss the chats about one thing that led to another. There were never any short conversations with you because you needed to know all the facts and loved detail. You showed great respect toward family and friends, and they respected you in return. While you are no longer with us, you will still be part of our lives because you will always live firmly in our hearts. We will make sure we uphold your tradition of finishing family dinners with a chocolate or two. We love you - Tony, Rita, Jamie and Daniel xxx.

To my big brother / brother in-law, we are grateful that you are now at peace. In our minds you have never left. You will be remembered in our hearts, our thoughts, and in our memories of good times spent together. We know that life must go on, though we will always think of you as if you've never gone. From your little brother, and your sister in-law, Davide and Alison

To Uncle Carmine, You were a very caring, kind, special person with a loving soul. We are going to remember all the good times we shared, and the memories we made together. Lots of love from, Gemma and Lucas.

To our precious son in-law, although we miss you dearly and wish things were different, you deserve to rest now with God. Thank you for being a part of our family and forever in our hearts – Emanuele and Maria Gioia

To our brother in-law and uncle, you showed us the meaning of gratitude, always shared your wisdom, knowledge and had a way with words. We saw your constant battle and a cure was not meant to be. God put his arms around you, and whispered come to me. Although we love you dearly, God needed you more. We learnt that despite our broken hearts, he only takes the best. Love you always - Franca and Marco, Cathy and Vincenzo, Vicky and Francesco. Cristian, Asia, Felicia, Dion, Anthony, Gracy, Lukas, Mariah and Gabriella.
