PLUMMER, Peter Charles

The Chief Officer, Hobart Fire Brigade and members of Tasmania Fire Service are saddened by the passing of a respected work colleague.

Peter commenced his career with the Tasmania Fire Service in December 1979 as a Field Officer – Southern Region. He progressed to the rank of Senior Station Officer and came to Hobart Fire Brigade where he worked on shift, and later transferred to Community Fire Safety as a Senior Consultant and acted in various roles while there, before returning to HFB and retired in November 2019.

Pete left a legacy as his two sons Brendan and Craig work for the Tasmania Fire Service as our condolences go out to his family and friends.
