Born in Caulonia, Pr. Reggio Calabria, Italy on January 2, 1934. Passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family on August 19, 2021. Aged 87 years. Devoted and loving husband of Carmela. Caring and loving father and father-in-law of Francesco and Maria, Anna-Maria and Brenton Seager. Adored and cherished Nonno of Anthony, Michael, Leah, Sienna and Alina. Loving son of Francesco and Rosa. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Emilia Costa, Nicola (dec.) and Maria Placanica, Elisabetta and Vincenzo Scali (both dec.). Loving son-in-law of Ilario and Maria-Teresa Cutufia. Loved brother-in-law of Domenico (dec.), Maria and Francesco Dominelli (both dec.), Pasquale (dec.), Nicola and Annunziata (both dec.), Giuseppe (dec.), Vincenzo and Maria (both dec.), Rosa and Ilario (dec.) Aiossa, Francesco (dec.), Emilia and Cesare Squillace, Angela and Giuseppe (dec.) Coluccio. Giovanni will be sadly missed and always remembered for his loving and gentle soul by all his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Australia and overseas. The family sincerely thank all medical and nursing staff at T.Q.E.H., Dr. Frank Chitti, Dr. J Montarello, Dr. G Srinivasan, for the dedication and care given to their beloved husband and father.
