PETERS, Colin AM

The Advisory Council of Ai Group’s SA Branch, management and staff express sincere condolences to Barb and family members on the recent passing of Col Peters.

Col was a former President of Engineering Employers Association SA (EEASA), a delegate to the Ai Group national Executive, Chairman of the EEASA Group Training Scheme and the Inaugural Chairman of the Industry Leaders Fund.

He was a highly respected industrialist at national and State level and wise counsel to many of the State’s manufacturing leaders.

Col’s contribution to the industry was acknowledged in 2016 when he was awarded an Order of Australia for significant service to the automotive manufacturing sector, to professional industry associations through advisory roles, and to lacrosse.

He was a good friend, colleague, mentor and industry champion and will be greatly missed.
