Peter Armstrong Severin

Born 21/1/28 - Passed Away 26/2/21

Aged 93 years.

It is with profound sadness we share the loss of one of Central Australia’s Great Pioneers – Peter Severin (Pete). He was a true gentleman, devoted son, loving husband and proud father. He was a leader and pioneer in both the pastoral and tourism industries. Peter passed away peacefully in his 94th year, surrounded by those he loved, and those that loved him, at Curtin Springs Station, his home for over 65 years.

Peter is survived by his only child, Ashley.

He leaves behind his grandchildren and great grandchildren, those that are family and those that should be family, his friends, business associates and the millions of visitors that have passed through Curtin Springs over the last 65years. They will miss his smile, his laugh, his compassion and his stories.
