Passed away at the NWRH on 21.2.2023. Son of Herbert and Lillian Pennycuick (both dec.). Brother of Shirley Fletcher (dec.), and Elizabeth Hinley. Beloved uncle of Amanda and Chris, Nikki, and Mel.

He was a loved and respected member of the Wynyard community and will be missed by his former students and their families.


At Richard's request he was privately cremated without a service.
