On the 8th of May with Val by his side Tony passed away.
Tony’s loving family, wife Val, daughter Andrea, sons Rohan and Dale, his son and daughter in laws Russel, Hilary and Tanya, grandchildren Kim, Jacqui, Evie, Sam, Charlie and Zara would like to thank the many doctors, nurses and carers who have cared for Tony through his illness.
A man known for his sense of humour and generosity of spirit will be greatly missed by many who have known him in his 82 years of life. His generous gift to leave his remains to science to further understand his condition is a testament to his character.
His passing will bring him peace but will leave an unfillable hole in his family’s hearts. Whilst the sickness drained him away, his jokes kept flowing until the tap stopped running.
