The Partners and Staff of Corrs Chambers Westgarth mourn the passing of Barry O'Callaghan.
Barry was one of Corrs' most loved and highly respected Partners, having spent more than 50 years at the firm. He was an exceptional lawyer, mentor and friend, and he contributed to all aspects of the life of this firm.
Barry was an acknowledged contributor to the business community in Australia, to the educational sector and to pro-bono and charitable causes. He was highly respected by his wide range of clients, many of whom became his friends and friends of the firm.
He taught and inspired generations of lawyers both within the firm and throughout the wider legal and business community.
He was like no other, and will be sorely missed but always remembered for the great man that he was.
