NOLAN, Susan
The Blackmans Bay Children’s Services / Adventure Patch family express our most sincere sympathies on the passing of Susan Nolan. We offer our deepest condolences to Susan’s family.
Sorrow fills our hearts as Susan quietly closes the door on an extraordinary life and departs from us leaving our community richer for her time devoted to children and their care.
Susan was dedicated and passionate about children and embraced early years learning. She founded Blackmans Bay Children Services in 1980, establishing the first service at the former Blackmans Bay Kindergarten School site, and was CEO for 34 years.
Susan was highly respected in our community and contributed greatly to the development of childrens services and the early years sector in Blackmans Bay and Kingston. A generation of children, families, their carers and educators have benefited from her generous sharing of knowledge, expertise, and skills. Her legacy will continue to influence our commitment to the care of children for many years to come.
