Proud and honourable son of Victor and Pakiam and son-in-law of Ronald and Myrtle (all deceased). Dedicated and loyal husband of Marina. Loving father of Usha, Anil and Anita, and father-in-law to Adam and Tom. Doting Appu Sam to Xavier. Supportive brother to Shanta, Nimal and Anura and brother-in-law of George (deceased), Ranjini, Shameni, Frances, Bryan, Steve and Carole. Beloved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He was a dedicated and compassionate doctor who loved his patients and the Virginian and Two Wells communities. He will be remembered for his gorgeous smile, generous spirit, strong work ethic, love of learning and his deep love and commitment to his family and friends. He took great joy in discovering the world around us and had an endless passion for music, which he has shared with his three children. We wish to acknowledge all the reception staff, nurses, allied health and doctors who have worked closely with him over the years. He was always so grateful for and proud of the team around him. Our family wishes to extend our immense gratitude to all of his personal doctors, who treated him with respect, grace and dignity. We also wish to thank the staff on Ward 8E at the Royal Adelaide Hospital who cared for him so beautifully in his last few weeks and went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable and our family was well supported. Although we are devastated that we have lost our wonderful man, we are so proud of the person he was and who he inspired us all to be. His circle of influence was so large, leaving a huge mark on this earth. He will be greatly missed.
