NICOU, Antonios. Born Agios Theodoros, Larnaca, Cyprus on October 21, 1936. Passed away surrounded by his loving and devoted family on July 15, 2018. Aged 81 years. Loving husband of Eleni. Devoted father of Nick, George, Peter and Mario. Adoring father-in-law of Angela, Georgie and Anna. Proud grandfather of Eleni, Elias, Konstantina, Anastasia, Irina, Michaela, Antony, Zachary, Nikolas, Chrisovalandis, Anthony and Constantina. Devoted great-grandfather of Ellen and Emanuel. Dearly loved by his brothers, sisters and all their families in Australia, Cyprus, New York and London. Noni, As a wife, it was hard watching you suffer and I am comforted to know that you are now free from pain and rest in peace. Love Eleni. Dad, There are no words to express what I watched you go through, especially in the last 48 hours. I can t imagine what you went through, but now you can rest in peace with your head held high. The way you fought it through and kept our family in a positive mood was unforgettable. We had our goodbye chat, father to son, man to man which I will never forget. I know it touched us both and any time spent after that was such a bonus. I have gratitude and appreciation for everything you have done. Goodbye for now, your loving son Niko. Dearest Dad, You watched me grow from a child to a man and I watched you slowly fade, but you held yourself so gracefully when Heaven called your name. You always lived through your children, now I live with you in my heart. The tears I cry can t wash away your loving memory. Fly homeward Angel, our brightest star in Heaven. Thank you for all that you have done for me and my family. We are so proud of the strength and positivity you showed over the last 4 trying years. You were an inspiration to us in the way you dealt with this terrible disease and we will never forget how you handled yourself so gracefully right up until the very end. We love you immensely and thank you for all that you have done for us as a father, friend and mentor. You will be with us every day in a place in our hearts reserved especially for you.
