Born in Bonea, Pr. Benevento, Italy, November 28, 1929. Passed away unexpectedly with his loving family by his side at St Hilarion Aged Care on October 29, 2019. Aged 89 years. Beloved husband of 59 years to Elisabetta (Bettina) (deceased). Cherished son of Luigi Perone and Nicoletta Cecere-Palazzo (both deceased). Devoted and loving father and father-in-law of Nicoletta and Luigi Vella, Lou and Tony Tyszta, Josie and Mario Vella. Adored nonno of Tony and Leanne, Paul and Aleece, Adam and Brooke, Alexandrea and Pasquale, Lauren and Christopher, Stephanie and Quinn, Joseph and Sophie, Gabriella, Nicholas and Valeria. Cherished Bisnonno of Julian, Christian, Nathan, Sebastian, Rose, Hugo, Olive and Louis. Lovingly remembered by all his family and friends in Australia and overseas. Papà, a thousand prayers won’t bring you back, we know because we tried. Neither will a thousand tears, we know because we cried. They say there was a reason, they say that time will heal. But neither time nor reason will change the way we feel. Nonno, there is a place in our hearts that is yours alone, a part in our lives that no one else can own. Today, tomorrow, our whole life through, we will remember you. The family sincerely thank Dr Fantasia and all the staff at St Hilarion Aged Care, Seaton, for their constant compassion, care and support for our dear Papà. Reunited with Mum.
