After a long battle with cancer our father, Bill Newman,
passed away at
Anglicare SA, Trott Park,
on Sunday March 10, 2019
Youngest son of
Olive and Francis Newman (both deceased)
brother to
Ken and Bob (deceased)
and older brother John
Loved husband of
Audrey (deceased)
Beloved father of
Sandra and Julie
father-in-law of
Lance and David
Loved Poppa of
Lisa and Damien,
Jennifer and Jason, and Declan Great Poppa of
Blake, Matilda and Sebastian
Dad showed amazing resilience during the last, tough 18 months. Although confined to bed and in quite a lot of pain, he still had his sense of humour right until the end.
He specifically requested
that there be no Funeral,
so to members of his beloved Blackwood Golf Club as well as friends and neighbours from Walnut Grove Estate,
please have a cold beer
or a glass of good red
to celebrate his life
when you are together next.
