Aged 89 years. Nancy passed away surrounded by her loving family. Precious and adored wife of Syd "Paper Mac' (deceased) for 68 ¾  happy years, (respected and admired couple). Dearly loved mother and mother in law to syd, Greg and Anita. Loved grandmother to young Greg and young Syd, Loving mum to Poppy (the dog). Strong and determined Matriarch, lifetime devoted family manager, srumptious cook (homemade milkshakes), numerous charities, school committees, unselfish generousity, champion ballroom dancer. Mum, thank you for a lifetime of love, teaching, support and encouragement...... life-affirming principles, respected integrity, perceptive judgement, no-nonsense wisdom, honourable values, humble pleasures. Mum the quiet achiever, daily inspiration, personification of courage, who taught us to "stand on our own two feet". Always in our hearts Love from adoring proud sons syd and Greg. McDonald family would like to sincerely thank and acknowledge everlasting lifelong friends, visitors, phone calls and well-wishers. Resthaven Mitcham Aged Care was exemplary above and beyond Duty of Care, from management, supporting staff, dedicated carers in providing dignity and respect.
