The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
Bill Mitchell was a long term Resident of Tennant Creek – known to many as the Devils Marbles Man from his time as a Tour Guide working from the old Backpackers…… and more recently as the Driver of the Door to Door Bus for Tennant Creek Transport.
Bill Mitchell departed this world on the 4th April at 4.35am.
He was dressed for the Occasion and had his 6 white chargers harnessed and ready for his last trip. He was at peace and listening to his final playlist.
Bill did not want a funeral – his ashes will be scattered at a private ceremony.
Bill fought a herculean fight against the Big C.
Thanks to the Doctors, nurses and staff at the Darwin Hospital Palliative Care Unit for your compassion and care in difficult circumstances.
Friends please raise a glass of Coopers in memory of Bill.
