MISSIO, Adriano Romeo. Born January 30, 1939 in San Daniele del Friuli, Italy, worked and lived in Australia for 50 years and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at St John of God Hospital, Geelong. Adriano was surrounded by his family and left us with a cheeky smile on his face. May he rest in peace MISSIO, Adriano Romeo. Born January 30, 1939 in San Daniele del Friuli Italy. After living and working in Australia for 50 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 24, 2013 at St John of God Hospital Geelong. Adriano was surrounded by his loving family and was holding his son's hand when he left us with his last signature cheeky grin. Loved husband of Josie for 43 years. Caring and supportive father and father in-law of Carlo and Clare. Adoring and beloved Nonno of Bella and Oscar. One of 10 children he leaves behind brothers Mario and Emilio, sisters Teresa and Franca in Australia and Gina and Germana in Italy and Giovanna, Attilio and Renato (dec.) Brothers and sisters in-law Clelia, Danila, Greg (dec), Italo, Dante (dec), Luciano and Nellie. Many caring nieces and nephews here and abroad with whom he left many fond memories. Adriano will be deeply missed and remembered for his generosity, sense of humour, love of wine and his big heart. MISSIO, Adriano Romeo. 30/01/39 - 24/04/13 Dear Dad, you taught me many things, both good and bad. But the most important things you left me were your amazing and infectious sense of humour, quick wit, your generosity to everyone who was lucky enough to know you. All of my friends recount fun stories of you and impressions you left on them. Your unique and amazing ability to communicate with anyone will never be forgotten.
