Publication: Herald Sun
Date Listed: 17/1/2007

MINUTOLO Antonino Passed away suddenly on January 14, aged 91 years at Hilltop Aged Care Facility, Preston. Dad, what can we say except if Mum was our foundation, then you were the rock from where she built thatfoundation. Like Mum, you achieved a remarkable 91 years on this earth, we can only imagine what you have seen through those years. Harsh times, wars, poverty and heartache, but throughout it all and together with Mum you managed to raise 7 of your 9 children. You were stern and firm and you ruled your family without fuss or fanfare. You accepted and expected nothing less than obedience and respect from all of your children and we dared not give it when demanded right till the end. Dad, when you lost your soul mate recently, we saw how broken-hearted you were. We knew you wanted to be with Mum and we suppose she saw it too and came to show you the way. Please continue to watch over us from above and keep us together as you did on this earth. We thank you for our very existence and will remember you for the rest of our lives. Pleasesay hello to Mum for us as you tend to your new garden and sweep the paths of wind-blown leaves and may you both enjoy eternal rest and peace. Your loving children Sarina and Joe Scollo, Joe and Flora Minutolo, Sam Minutolo, Rosa and Frank Ponzo, Mario and Vita Minutolo, John and Mara Minutolo, Suzanne and Tony Savino.
