John Allan Millard formally the one armed bandit passed away peacefully on the 26th of March 2021 at Regis Aged care Wynnum after a day surrounded by family love and his favourite music.
Survived by his wife and life partner Dawn Millard, his four children Sharon French, Kim Cahill, Carol Ann, Grant Millard, 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Quite the achievement for a man left to die and the loss of an arm in a motorcycle accident at 18 years old.
Determination, a healthy self esteem with plenty of talent saw him through the tuff times. A great love for sport excelling at numerous athletic ventures including golf, snooker, squash, tennis and lawn bowls.
He will be sadly missed by family and surviving friends.
Rest easy xxxx
There will be a private cremation along with a family gathering to celebration for a fortunate life.
