MIHELAKIS, George.

Who entered eternal life on Sunday, June 11, 2017. His spirit is carried on by his two children and an extended family of relations and friends from every walk of life.

We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from George during his 71 years, among them: "Life's secret to joy and absolute freedom for each and every one of us, is in the release of fear".

Born in Crete, with his strong Cretan influence and a personality larger than life itself, he feared to chase that which he desired and loved. Life indeed he did love and with that appreciated every single moment experienced within it, giving himself unconditionally and wholly to living in the now, never to worry of what has passed or to come. The joy he felt for life was contagious when around him. Always happy, uplifting he was and a light unto all, even amongst the darkest of days.

Uncle George was a king and a fighter, a constant companion, a mentor and a best friend. His blessed soul to be eternally remembered.

All who remembered him are invited to celebrate George's life in their own special way. Raising a glass of their favourite would be quite appropriate, he loved the odd scotch and a dance.

Goodbye Uncle George, in our hearts you will always remain, until we meet again.
