The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
Of all the gifts in life
However great or small
To have you as a brother
Was the greatest gift of all.
We shared our dreams and plans and some secrets too.
All the memories we share is what bonds me now to you.
I saw you come into this world, become a man, a father and an amazing person.
Someone who always thought of others first.
A man who loved to bring a smile as he went on his way.
Never failing to brighten up a dark and gloomy day.
Over our 76 year journey together we were never far apart, whether it was in Italy, moving to Australia or building a business together. Yet not an argument or day we left each other angry. I will miss our chats after work or just a call to see if you are ok.
A special brother I can’t replace
With an aching heart
I whisper low
I miss you brother
And love you so.
Love always and forever Giovanni and Antonietta
We were truly blessed to have known you Uncle Joe
A loving, caring and thoughtful person
Always there for advice and a hand if needed.
Be at peace now until we meet again.
Love Michael, Daniel, David and families.
