Joe arrived in Australia in 1970 and soon became an active member of the St Kilda expat Scots Community . After meeting and marrying Diane he was proud to adopt Mark, Rodney and Lisa into the McNeilly clan and soon after welcomed Sean. From there Joe became grandfather to Kirsty, Brendan, Catriona and Michael, Danielle and James, Jess Dan and Matilda and more recently great grandchildren Bailey, Amelia, Cooper, Spencer, Frankie and Freddie. Joe’s brothers, Peter and Jack and sisters Kathleen and May share fond memories of their big brother as do Danny his brother law and Patricia his sister in law
Joe’s many friends from Lyndale United Soccer Club and the Dandenong community will miss his sense of fun !
