The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
Slowly at first, then in a rush,
age came, and the end began,
time had arrived for payment,
of your health and strength,
then only the best remained,
glowing bright in the wreckage,
loyalty, and courage and love,
gone now, called by the light,
to continue and endless journey,
gan cruth, gan fuaim, gan muid.
