McDONALD (nee Ryan). _ Joan Margaret Passed away at 89 years of age on Thursday Sept. 29, 2016, three weeks after the passing of Jim her much loved husband of 68 years. Beautiful mother to Phillip, Dennis, Peter, Janine, Jonathan and Christopher (dec.). Mother-in-law to Garry. Grandmother to Ryan and Anya, Timothy and Keisha, Caitlin and Cassandra. Great grandmother to Marquise and Lianah. Joan was a true matriarch, a liberator, a confidante, a refuge, and the keeper of all family knowledge, because when people told her something she listened. Her memory lives with so many more than us.
