Where is your voice of affection, where is the laughter and talk of childhood reflection.
Where is the ever giving and understanding heart.
Where are the bonds that were there from the start.
You were my trusted confidante and best friend.
On whose loving support I would always depend.
I will miss the way our conversations were never enough, the way we held each other up when life got really rough.
I'll miss the sound of your voice, your laughter and your sighs,
you gave me so much to be thankful for, but no goodbyes.
I wish I could tell you, I'm not ready to let you go, but you've already departed, and my heart is feeling low.
A Million words won't bring you back, I know because I've tried.
Neither will a million tears,,
I know because I've cried.
