The Language of Us
Doris Falidis-Nickolas’ poetry beautifully captures love, loss, and remembrance, offering comfort to those navigating grief.
McDONALD. _ John. As I wipe a tear from my eye, and pick up my broken heart, I will make your memory live on, although my world has fallen apart. Such wonderful memories I have of different stages of life, which make me laugh, make me cry, and shake my head and sigh. A world of knowledge you had, one of a kind, a party animal, determined, pedantic old bugger, loving man. That all comes to mind. A loving husband, caring father and father-in-law, great brother and son, funny uncle, loyal friend and loved Poppy to the very end. I love you my Daddy I'll miss you always _ Your little girl, and her family on this sad, gut-wrenching day.
