McCANN, Blanchenee Bradshaw4th October, 1932to 21st February, 2017On this sad day, we said goodbye to our Mum, Nan, More Nan, Old Nanny and Great-nan. Mum was 84.She was the beloved Wife to our Dad, John and Mum and Mum-in-law to Helen and Gerry, Malcolm and Debra, Bradley and Janene, Heather and Bill, Lesley and Brett, Janet and Paul. She was so proud of her 24 Grandchildren and delighted with each new arrival of her 32 Great- grandchildren.Mum was born in Brisbane to Fred and Alice Bradshaw and joined her Sisters Vera, Marg, Amy and Brother Syd.The Family moved to the Gold Coast when she was about 12.Mum had worked as a check out chick, pharmacist assistant and nurse. Dad and Mum started dating when she was 16 years old and their marriage lasted 65 years, until Dad passed away in 2015.Mum trained women in natural childbirth, worked hard at home, to raise their six Children and supported our Dad with his endeavours and through some very challenging life moments. She loved camping, travelling, world affairs, football, cups of teas, visiting, stories and laughter, but most of all, she loved seeing her Family grow and hearing from her Family about their lives. We shall surely miss our Mum in our lives and our hearts are sore with this prospect, but she will stay in our memories and hearts forever. We will say goodbye to her in a Private Family Gathering
