Mary was truly a Christian woman

imbued with love and genuine compassion,

selflessness and humility.

She especially, and remarkably,

had the integrity and courage

to be open to acceptance and change.

Mary had a gentle serenity, a modest wisdom,

and a ripper sense of humour.
