DOHERTY (née Wilson), Marie Patricia

4/10/1948 - 29/12/2019 

Daughter of Dorothy and Albert (dec.). 

Wife of Robert for over 50 years. Mother of Jason and Matthew. Mother-in-law of Lee and Kylie. Grandmother of Mia, Sophie, Georgie and Elliot, who she treasured greatly with all her love. 

She had suffered stoically for over 9 years. I am unable to say how much I will miss her and will love her until I die. 

Thank you to the wonderful Bellarine Palliative Care’s Theresa, Sue, Jacob and Miriam and to all the District Nurses who helped Marie and I. Thank you to Barwon Health Palliative Care for their kindness and care, in particular all the nursing staff, cleaners and food handlers: I consider you angels of mercy. 

May her dear soul rest in peace.
